As a composter since 1965 it is the desire of McFarlane’s Bark, Inc. to persevere in their obligation to produce safe, uniform and superior products. McFarlane’s has been a leader in the industry by testing their compost and soil mix products since 1986. As it is our objective to continually raise the standard of our products we joined the “Earth-Wise” program, which is monitored by the Metro Service District. McFarlane’s compost products have maintained “Earth-Wise” designation since it’s inception in 1993. To preserve accountability, our soil mixes and compost products are made from the most stable feed stocks, i.e., vegetative yard debris, chips, sawdust, soil, etc.
With the testing parameters that have been set, our products perpetuate an ever increasing value with a practical application as soil amendments and more importantly, products that can be used without harm to the environment or human health.
